COAT DRIVE UPDATE
Thanks to the generosity of so many, our coat drive was a huge success. The NCNR family collected over 200 coats!
TOY DRIVENCNR is collecting toys for Toys for Tots! Please bring in new unwrapped toys for children ages 0-12 before December 16th. The drop off boxes are located in our lobby and gift shop. Any questions, please call Bonnie at (631) 361-8800 extension 258. Thank you!
UPCOMING NCNR BLOOD DRIVENCNR is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, November 24th in collaboration with Long Island Blood Services. The drive will be held in the employee dining room from 12:30pm to 6:00pm. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 100 pounds, and not have donated blood within the last 56 days of the date of the drive. People age 76 and older can donate blood if they meet all criteria and present a physician’s letter. There are some medical conditions that can keep you from giving blood. If you have any questions about medical eligibility, call 1-800-688-0900. If you are interested in signing up, please contact Bonnie at 631-361-8800, ext. 258.
SCRAPBOOKINGOne of our devoted volunteers has graciously offered to provide 1:1 scrapbooking instruction. Why not turn a special event or moment into a forever keepsake? Aside from the photographs that the Residents or the family members provide, we take care of everything else in terms of hands-on direction and supplies. (We have the best volunteers!)
